Micro/Mini Grassroots Program Information

Available to players under 4 and under 6. Our Mini Grassroots programs are designed to develop basic soccer skills, fair play, and sportsmanship in a fun atmosphere full of games and activities.

U04 Micro Grassroots Program – Open to players born in 2016

  • This program is a parent and tot program. Parents are expected to take part with their child.
  • This program will include one session per week, Wednesdays from 6-7pm in the Duc D’Anville Elementary School gym.
  • The program will be 20 weeks in duration, with 10 weeks of programming from October 16 to December 18, and 10 weeks of programming from January 8 to March 11.
  • There will be a 2 week break from December 22 to January 5.

 

U06 Mini Grassroots Program – Open to players born in 2014 and 2015

  • This program will include one session per week, Thursdays from 6-7pm at the BMO Soccer Centre.
  • This program will be 20 weeks in duration, with 10 weeks of programming from October 17 to December 19, and 10 weeks of programming from January 9 to March 12.
  • There will be a 2 week break from December 22 to January 5.

 

Grassroots Program Information (New)

Available to players under 8 and under 10. Our Grassroots programs will offer players the opportunity to play games against other teams in their age group within the club. They will also train once a week in a relaxed, fun environment where they are able to play with their friends.

U08 – U10 Grassroots Program – Open to players born between 2010 and 2013

  • This program will include one training session per week, Thursdays at the BMO Soccer Centre, and one game every second Sunday at the Fairview Junior High School gym.
  • The program will be 20 weeks in duration, with 10 weeks of programming from October 17 to December 19, and 10 weeks of programming from January 9 to March 12.
  • Check the October Game Day schedule to see when you are scheduled to play in October.
  • There will be a 2 week break from December 22 to January 5.
  • The success of this program depends on parent leaders. Parents will be asked to supervise players on game days.
